These panels are some of the designs we have created in ready to hang art. They are 14.5” by 14.5” and have hooks attached to the sides. Add some chain and they are ready to go! These are designed by us and handmade by us for some unique art.

We have been working on one of our favorites - art glass!
Happy March everyone! We have had lots of rain but we’re given a nice break last Sunday for Oak Gallery’s One year Anniversary and Artist Reception. It was a ton of fun and people went home with a lot of great art! Plus, owner Penny even has a section where you can purchase her photos and greeting cards at Oak Gallery.
Now, we “March” towards Spring and another season of being creative.
Many clients are interested in adding art glass to their home, and we have been doing a lot of designing and creating (and more designing which will lead to more creating!) Art glass is great for mirrors, windows, doors, cabinet doors, shower glass, and more. We even have panels like the bird of paradise that with some chain are ready to hang in front of your window. We are just into the first week of August and we are just watching this year fly by! Perfect time to enjoy the rest of our longer days on the beach.
So, inspired by summer (an occasionally enjoying air conditioning…) here is a wonderful palm tree and bird of paradise art glass window we did! It just creates a fantastic a view of the beach you may be just a little too inland to see. It is a lovely representation of the area adding more greenery and a touch of color when our clients look out there window. It was wonderful to work on this and we love how it turned out! Plus, it added a nice bit of privacy while still letting the sun come in.
It is the start of the month, hopefully not too many pranks on this Fools Day though! We aren’t the kind of people to make up tricks (which is very believable today…), so we will just talk about art glass!
Our types of art glass are Stained Glass, Stained Glass Overlay, Cast Glass, and Single Stage Sandblasted Glass.
We create custom and unique designs for our clients in these different art glass styles. These options give us a huge variety in privacy levels, colors, clears, textures, and even adding some other multimedia elements! It has been another week of creating with cool and cloudy weather and even a bit of rain! We have been working on art glass and furniture tops this week.
We are creating an underwater scene with plants and creatures for a pair of doors. with the design going from one door to the next. We really enjoy working with our clients to design and create glass that they will enjoy for years to come! And if you need glass tabletops or furniture protectors, you can check out their page here. Glass is great for protecting the tops of furniture from damage, is easier to clean, and you don’t have to use a coaster if you don’t want to! We use tempered glass, recommend at least a 1/4” thickness, and can have a Flat Polished or Pencil Polished edge.
Well we survived Halloween and the new month is here! We are adjusting to our new space nicely and feeling refreshed in the remodeled space. It was a lot of work, and there is still more to do, but we are happy with the results. Plus, the last weekend of the Escondido Renaissance Faire is this weekend, along with the Carlsbad Street Fair on Saturday! It is so exciting to see events coming back.
We were able to reuse our tabletop made of rain glass as a skylight for our…skylight! Plus, some types of art glass doors are on display right as you walk in! Plus, we have a brand new sliding glass patio door to let the fresh air in!
We started December this week and it’s the start to the close of 2020. We’ve been enjoying the cooler weather while we work on our clients projects.

Filming was done before the virus, as you may of guess, but do not worry, we are social distancing, wearing masks, and cleaning!
We are halfway through the year and have the Independence Day weekend to look forward to! While things are very different this year, the goal is a safe and fun weekend and we hope that for everyone!
