Friday January 1, 2021 Update

Happy New Year!

It seems like a difficult time to make resolutions, but we can at least resolve to have a better year (to the best of our abilities)

For now, we will be thankful. It has been a difficult year, small businesses have been hit especially hard. I know that in Carlsbad Village we have all tried to support each other, but it is a challenge. We are grateful to have been able to stay open despite not being able to get much of the assistance that was given out. We learned that a “small” business has about 50 employees, which puts us and the places around us into what must be a micro business category, and I am personally worried us and many others were overlooked for government assitance. But we and our local friends are trying to persevere. By being available by call, text, or email we have connected with clients across the country with repairs. Our local contractors still order from us, and our clients know we are working as fast as we can to complete their orders as the pandemic has slowed down every step of the process. We have worked hard to try and adapt and keep our smiles on under our masks!

So once again, thank you to our clients, friends, and family who have done what they can to keep us afloat.

And if you can, support local businesses with as contactless ordering, stay safe, and stay warm!

Friday July 31, 2020 Update

A huge thank you again to our clients which are keeping us busy! Please know you mean everything to us and are supporting a family owned business, not a corporation. With your support, we also ask for patience as this is still a difficult time that effects every level of the glass process. Things can sometimes take a little longer than expected, but we are working hard to keep processes moving to give you a high quality product and service. Once again, thank you for all your support!

With that, look out soon for our commercial release! It was a unique experience for those of us at the Shoppe and we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed being part of it!

Friday June 12, 2020 Update

Protest’s last weekend were peaceful and wonderful. We hope all the right people hear the message for positive change.

Amid all this we are still keeping our precautions against Covid-19 by wearing masks , keeping our distance, and using sanitizer.

Our wonderful clients have been great with contacting us by phone, text, or email. With some information and pictures if needed, we can give close estimates on items we need to measure or inspect. If you know what you need, after a few questions we can give you a price and have your glass ordered. Then you wait for our call to come pick up your item. Credit card payments can be done over the phone for your convenience as well!

The Shoppe is a small (micro?) business trying to survive just as many others around us are. We have done the little we can to support our community that we have been a part of for many years. We look forward to many more years with the friends and family we have around us
