We made it through the first week of 2023. It can be hard to adjust after the holidays, but we have been working on our custom glass and mirror projects for out clients

Today is a day for celebration - it's Penny's Birthday! She is the wonderful owner, creator, designer, brains, muscle, heart, and soul of the operation! We love being a part of Penny's dream to create wonderful art glass every where. Its is a joy to see how she is always trying to help others and she does it with her sweet smile. It has been a journey and we hope to celebrate and enjoy another trip around the sun for Penny!
We hope everyone has a great weekend and finds a reason to celebrate!
We are so lucky to be able to enjoy some stunning beach sunsets here. They are later in the day right now, but lovely none the less! And we are glad to have some of our important tools of the trade - truck and trailer. We are a small shoppe and this lets us do bigger jobs. If you need to upgrade the windows to your home or adding in plenty of mirrors, we are here for you!

While we are closed today for New Years Eve, we hope everyone is enjoying the holiday. It has been an interesting year, and we look forward to the new one! 2022 will bring the grand opening of Oak Gallery and we will be here to supply more glass and mirror while designing and creating art glass!

We enjoyed both faire and fair last weekend, and made sure any Carlsbad Street Fair goers would see the amazing progress on our shoppe!
We love all the glowing lights at night (especially with it getting dark so early) and the art glass showing off through the new patio door!
We also got a new vinyl retrofit window on the side and moved our art glass doors so they can be enjoyed right as you walk in! Plus, the upcoming Oak Gallery will add more art to the building! Plus, you can visit Jean Genie one door over in our building for appointments to get your perfect fitting jeans!
It has been an exciting transformation and we are happy to have more art in the village while being your local glass and mirror supplier!
We are through a major part of our remodel with our new sliding glass doors, a brand new wall, new furniture, and new paint! It has been quite a journey and we want to thank Penny, Brandy, Gary, Juan, and everyone else that helped and worked hard on this project! We are so happy to have this new space to create our art glass in while also being your local glass and mirror distributor.

We have been continuing on our path of supplying our clients with glass and mirror. We face the same challenges as other businesses with shortages in materials and people as is our suppliers and their suppliers! It is rough, but we are completing our projects, it just may take some time.
This week we have been working on shelves and more glass in frames - whether we are adding a mirror to our clients frame or replacing glass that was broken over framed artwork. We can supply AND do the install into your frame for both.
Our shelves have been for mirrored alcoves, cabinets, and display cases mostly. The glass is cut to your custom size and we prefer to use tempered glass for it’s strength and durability. If you are looking for tinted or textured glass, check out our Privacy and Textured Glass page here. Most of these can be tempered and make for a different style to glass shelves. They are also great for covering table tops and the tops of furniture to protect the surfaces from damage. Contact us here to get a quote on your glass!
I think it will be October before we get used to it being September. It has been an unusual (tough, unique, sometimes scary, and just plain weird) year and in a few weeks it will somehow be Fall!
To be honest, we are grateful we have been able to make it this far through the year. As a small or micro business, there is a struggle with balancing our work and trying to keep more money coming in then is going out. It can be tough to be competitive with large businesses. We work to stand out with quality products, friendliness, knowledge, and the ability to do tiny and large custom projects.
Thank you to our clients to work with us for great results and often unique projects! The slideshow below shows a mix of some of our work. Glass and mirror end up in many places in the home and office, and we are here to provide and replace it as our clients require.
