Friday Decmber 18, 2020 Update

Our little holiday decorations are out in the Shoppe so we can feel festive and merry! Hard to believe we are at the end of this crazy year. A lot of tough times have made it difficult for almost everyone, but we have hope on the horizon. It’s the second week of this lock down and things in the Village are quieter. The weather is staying nice for those getting their exercise (and it’s safer with less cars on the road). We are all getting take out to help our favorite restaurants, only going out if we really need to, and it is all strange for December. We hope for a safe and happy holiday, even if it is over video chat.

As usual, we are an essential business that can be contacted remotely as much as possible to limit in person interaction. Here is how you can get a hold of us:

For everyones safety when visiting us, please wear a mask, maintain social distancing, and please wait outside if we are with another client. We are all trying to do what is best for everyone and hope things will improve shortly!

Recently, a representative from the city of Carlsbad came around to businesses that were open (in some form or another)!

It is still confusing who is available, so when visiting the village, look out for these signs. With the Shoppe and many businesses, it is best to call ahead and verify availability - whether it can be in person on can/should be mobile. We are still appointment only, but when we are not in the field, the door is open while we continue to work in studio.

For the Shoppe, contacting us by email, text, or phone is a great way to get started without having to come in. Many clients who are confident in their measuring, can order, pay over the phone, and only visit to pick up their glass or mirror!

Also, new street parking rules started to be enforced yesterday - many streets have a 3 hour parking limit, so check those signs when visiting Carlsbad! The city parking lot next to us appears to be open to the public on the weekend without the 3 hour limit, but always check the signs.

Please shop local, but stay mobile when possible

Thank you!
